Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church, 144th and Dodge streets, Omaha. Visitation: 1-8 p.m. Monday, Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, Papillion. Interment: Springfield Cemetery. Memorials to the family.Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, Papillion.

I had the wonderful experience of substitute teaching Joe at Elmwood-Murdock. He was a great kid and had lots of friends who are missing him terribly. He left a legacy of being a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Me and Joe were friends during my senior of 06. I got to know Joe and he seemed to be a great person he always tryed to make people happy and it is sad to see him gone now. I will miss him.

To the family and Joe,
I want to thank you for raising such a smart young man... Joe was in my math analysis class second semester and was always finishing his math homework first. He helped me study for my ACT's and always put a smile on my face. He was a good kid. I will certinly miss him.
