LeRoy Topil Obituary
LeRoy Topil, 92, of Rising City, passed on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Butler County Health Center.
Memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby or Rising City Fire and Rescue.
Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, March 17, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby. Visitation, Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m., with a rosary at 5 p.m., all at the church. Visitation resumes Monday, 9 to 10 a.m. Interment with military honors by the Shelby American Legion Post #296 will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, with lunch at the American Legion Hall. Moravec Johnson Mortuary is handling arrangements.
LeRoy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret (Zegers); son, Charles (Susie) Topil, David City; daughters, Catherine (Chris) Terrana, W. Harrison, NY, and Valerie (Gary) Brown, Lakewood, CO; brother, Alfred (Sharon) Topil, Lincoln; sisters-in-law, Rose Topil (Robert, Deceased), Lincoln; sisters, Marjorie (Lee) Witulski (Deceased), Mary Ann (Ron) Johnson (Deceased); 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
