1972 - 2023

Michelle R. Angus Michelle "Chelle" (Walker) Angus of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away at home Friday, May 26, 2023, after a short battle with cancer.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at The Resurrection Hall at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lincoln, NE. Visitation starts at 10:30. A prayer service at 11:00 with lunch to follow.

Michelle Renee was born August 20, 1972, in Kearney, Nebraska to Phillip and Maureen (Micki) Walker. A short time later the family moved to Florida, then Louisiana, back to Kearney, and then to Columbus. She graduated from Columbus High School in May of 1990. In May 1991 she had her first child, Victor.

Life led Michelle to a small town in Montana where she met her future husband, John Angus. They returned to Columbus, NE and were wed July 3, 1993. A second child, Matt, was born in 1994. She was a devoted mother to both sons.

Working various jobs, Michelle settled into working with children and families. In 2012 she found her calling in working at Boys Town. Shifting through various positions there, she found her forever position in late 2022 which she held until her death.

Michelle loved children and had a knack to lead them to success. She was a caretaker, an avid book reader, and enjoyed doing many artistic activities.
