David Reesman Obituary

David C. Reesman HUMBIRD, WI (Formerly of Sturtevant) - David C. Reesman, age 49, passed away suddenly on March 23rd, 2016 doing what he loved most: riding his motorcycle. Unfortunately, a deer crossed his path, ending his time here with us. David loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, motorcycle races, outdoor concerts; anything that kept him in the fresh air. He was a man of few earthly possessions, but had a heart filled with gold, always there to help those in need. His smiling face will be deeply missed by family and friends. David is survived by his Mother Helen P Reesman; his Sister and Brothers; Marilyn (Jeff) Cragg, Brian Reesman, John Reesman; Nieces and Nephews; Natasha Rivera, Samantha Rivera, Jacob Reesman, James Reesman, Autumn Reesman. Preceded in death by his Father, Donald J Reesman. A Memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 1st at Noon at St. Roberts Church, 3320 S Colony Ave., Union Grove. WI. There will also be a memorial service on April 9th at 11am at St. Joseph Parish, N13740 Fairview Rd, Humbird, WI. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to help with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.

I still think of Dave every time that I am back in Humbird or driving past his place. Every time I hear a Jon Anderson song, it's as if I can hear him singing.

Many years ago, I met Dave and quickly became friends. We played on our dart team together and also threw horseshoes on many occasions. I can't begin to tell you all of the wonderful memories I share with Dave, and no matter what kind of day I was having, as soon as he walked in the bar, and flashed that million dollar smile, my day was instantly better. Dave was so giving, even when he had next to nothing. He always made sure everyone was safe, and had what they needed first. I have a huge empty space in my heart. But I am blessed to have known such a happy, caring man, one whom I will always consider my friend!

Dave was not only a neighbor, he was a true friend. He and I spent many weekends riding dirt bikes together. He was always there to lend a hand or an ear when needed. He will be truly missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about Dave. We were friends up north and had plans to do some fishing once the weather got warm. Dave was friendly to everyone. He will be greatly missed.
