So sorry to hear that our dear Kay is no longer with us. She was a great lady and will be missed. Looking at the attached photo of Kay and thinking. That's Kay. Alway a smile and full of good cheer.

Kay is a lady of such warmth, charm and grace. She always made me feel so appreciated when
we would cross paths at the Western Creative Center,
where we both were employed.
I enjoyed those brief chit chats with her in
her office whenever I'd be in the east wing to say Hi to
two of my best buddies, Ginny and Jean.
Kay was excellent at her work duties
(as was plainly seen in passing by her door).
As busy as she was, she never failed to greet
me by name, with a grand smile and welcoming words that dazzled just like the sparkles of light that the sun brought forth over Lake Michigan in the morning.
Kay was genuine. It was she who reminded me
that many many years ago we had been
neighbors! My childhood home was at the start
of Glendale Avenue and her house towards the
end curve. Suddenly my mind rolled out a technicolor movie reel, (HD BY TODAY'S TERMS) despite the haze of years gone by; It dawned on me that the lady I used to see walking briskly down the avenue, who always waved and greeted
me with that lovely beaming smile, was Kay.
You know, before she remarked on this, I did
have a sense of knowing her somehow. What a great moment it was to find her again.
A deja vu that she brought back to me,
but now the mystery was crystal clear.
Either way, I would have kept the vision of
that lady who often passed by my house as a nice memory from the span of my lifetime;
her telling me of her own recollection was
amazing, and made it all the more special.
Kay is a presence of goodness that will
remain with so many, always.
I say this especially to Kay's family,
with my heartfelt condolences.
