Michael Davidovic Obituary

Michael "Mike" Davidovic KENOSHA — Mike Davidovic, 59, swiftly 'putted in two' to heaven on October 12, 2013. Mike was born February 8, 1954 in Racine, WI. He attended local schools and graduated from Park High School. He went on to serve his apprenticeship & received Journeyman status as a Millwright with the State of Wisconsin. Mike was employed with JI Case, Racine, WI for over 20 years. His career then took him to Las Vegas, NV for 12 years with, Get Fresh Companies, where he excelled as a maintenance supervisor and was instrumental in the design, building and completion of their new facility. He then returned to his local roots to be closer to family and was presently employed with Mondi Akrorsil in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Mike was dedicated and proud to be part of the Mondi Akrosil Company where his maintenance skills were admired & respected. Mike's many passions included old world traditions, the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers, golf, billiards and 50 years of bowling, once missing a 300 game by two pins. However, his greatest joy came from traveling with his wife and being in the company of his family. He was a dear friend to all that knew him and he will be sincerely missed. Mike is survived by his beloved wife & friend of 30 years, Carol Ann Davidovic (née: Melito). Jeff & Katie Oatsvall, grandson, Nathan Oatsvall, granddaughter, Natalie Oatsvall, of Union Grove, WI. Jonathon "Jon" & Denise Predny, grandsons, Anthony, Patrick, & Andrew Predny of Racine, WI. He is further survived by one brother, four sisters, one sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law and their perspective spouses; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Vladislav "Dave" & Anni (née: Dauderer) Davidovic, Racine, WI. Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday evening for a visitation from 5-7 p.m. The celebration and remembrance of Mike's life will be held in the funeral home on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. There will also be a visitation on Friday from 10-11 a.m. At this time we want to express our deepest and sincere 'thank you' to Mike's co-workers who were with him at the golf outing during his demise and for the compassion & respect that were given to his wife Carol during & following the moments of Mike's passing. We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Fred worked with Mike at the Case Foundry and then in the Tractor Plant. He always said how much he liked and admired Mike. I knew Mike through Fred and from when I worked as a guard at Case. He always had a good word for everyone and he was friendly, honest and sincere. He will be very much missed and we extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, family and friends.
