AUBURN - Judith (Webber) Dutremble, 71, formerly of Saco, passed on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, in the loving care of the staff of Clover Manor in Auburn.
Judy was born March 15, 1945, the daughter of Lewis and Ivy Hillier. While attending Winthrop High School, she was a star basketball and softball player. After graduating in 1963, Judy enrolled in Bernard's School of Hairdressing, and went on to work several years as a beautician.
Judy had one child from her first marriage, Jeffrey S. Gaylord, born in 1967. Judy and Jeffrey moved to Saco in the early 1970s to start a new life after her divorce. As Jeffrey remembers, she chose Saco because of its beautiful beaches, places she would go to and love for the rest of her life.
In June 1974, she married Antonio "Tony" Dutremble. The two of them owned and operated Tony's Variety on Main Street, Biddeford, for many years.
Everyone who knew Judy and Tony knew that they were inseparable. Their summers were spent pursuing their love for camping and fishing all over their beloved state of Maine. November was strictly reserved for hunting in Wayne with Ed and Cheryl.
Judy and Tony were the truest of soulmates. Tony passed on Nov. 11, 2003.
Judy enjoyed taking an active role in the lives of Jeffrey's close friends. She loved, and was loved by, all of Tony's beautiful family in Augusta.
Judy was preceded in death by: her husband, Tony; her parents; a sister, Beverly Chappell; and a brother, Lewis Hillier Jr.
She is survived by: a son, Jeffrey Gaylord, wife Pamela and daughter Presley of Florida; two sisters, Joan Spadea and husband Dominic of Augusta, and Linda Smith and husband George of Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Edward Webber and wife Cheryl of Wayne and Michael Hillier and wife Suzanne of Limington; and several nieces and nephews.
Judy and Tony will be buried together at a later date.
"Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better"
We love you, Judy.

I wish to give my sympathy to family nod friends. To lose a loved one is very painful. A pain I am familiar with. While reading there was a thought that helped me greatly. It was found at 2 Kings 20:5 which reads: I have heard your prayers.. I have seen your tears. Here I am healing you. What a wonderful promise from God!

I knew Judy and worked mainly with her sisters and knew her brother, Eddie. My sincere condolences to the Webber family. It seems our friends and family leave up too early today.

I have many fond memories of Judy, our family's neighbor on Stockman Ave. It was a treat running into her at Cobscook Bay State Park a while back. She was just the same as I had remembered: a lovely lady!

So sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that those who have died, to God are as good as alive. A good name is better than good oil and the day of death is better than the day of birth. Eccl. 7:1
