Dennis Dutremble Obituary
Dennis was born February 22, 1953, a son of Georgette (Arbour) and Gerard Dutremble. Dennis grew up in Augusta where he attended school and graduated from Cony High School. In 1972, he enlisted in the Navy and following his honorable discharge, he remained in the reserves.
Dennis was employed for many years at the Augusta Mental Health Institute, where he was a well-liked and respected colleague. He had the ability to remain calm and de-escalate a challenging situation.
Dennis was happiest while living a life of solitude.
He was predeceased by his mother, father, and his brother in law, Gregory Gamage.
Dennis is survived by his sister, Charlene Gamage of Jefferson; and many cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff at Woodlands Memory Care of Lewiston for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided to Dennis.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 11 am at Holy Family Cemetery in Augusta. Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME 04330.
