Adam Stefanko Obituary

Adam James Stefanko

Milwaukee - Passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the age of 42. Loving son of Dawn (Dave) Goeb and Joseph (Sharon) Stefanko. Cherished grandson of Joseph Stefanko. Dear brother of Joshua (Lynsey) Stefanko, David Goeb and Samuel (Jenna) Goeb. Loving Uncle of Eva, Brady and Levi Goeb, Lilly and Jack Konkol. Further survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends who mourn his passing with us.

Visitation on Monday, November, 25th, 2019 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM at POPLAR CREEK CHURCH, 17770 W. Cleveland Ave, New Berlin. Celebration of Life service to follow at 6PM. Private interment Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Adam will always be remembered for his big personality, giving heart, wonderful smile, his ability to make the family laugh until we cried, and the love he had for the people who surrounded him. A special thanks to Teen Challenge of Arizona and his "brothers" there that had such an impact on him. His love for all of you, and yours for him, was profound. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to Teen Challenge of Arizona would be appreciated.

Reality is really starting to set in now that someone who was once really close to me and I looked up to very much when I was younger passed away recently. Who from what I remember, always worked hard to be healthier, workout and didn't have any serious medical conditions (that I knew of then anyway, myself being a uncontrolled diabetic) I found out passed away recently only 3 years older than I am. Now that I think about it, even though we hadn't talked in about 19 years, I know now that it is finally hitting me, his is the hardest death I've felt in my life. Him and Josh really did teach me a lot growing up, and I can only hope if anything his death finally teaches me to take some control of my own life and really start being smarter and achieving more with the rest of my time on this planet, and living rest of my life to the fullest. Adam and Josh were the closest thing I ever had to brothers growing up, and I really wish we'd had worked harder to keep contact, to this day 20 years later, when talking about them I still refer to them as "my step-brothers". Josh, if you read this, if you want to, don't hesitate to reach out. Love you guys. Lucas
