These 4 years seem like an eternity since hearing that gentle voice giving advice, praise, guidance and caution on medical care. He is missed and thought of often. To have had him as my physician was a gift from God.

It has been 3 years and although I have a doctor he had me see in his absence, I still miss him. I you saw Marcus Welby or Dr. Baker on Little House, you know what I mean. I expected us to go into our golden years with me arguing that he cannot retire because he had to treat me and him telling me no one wants a 90 year old doctor. God truly took an Angel from us to be with him. RestInHeaven always.

It's been 2 years and I am still saddened by his transition, as he was my doctor and confidant for 34 years. He truly was the vanishing breed of doctor from Little House on the Prairie and Marcus Welby eras. We used to joke about him having to come to the senior home in our golden years to treat me. What a wonderful gift o many he was and his family was so blessed to have him in their lives. Such a gentle and kind soul has left us.

It is end of July 2018. My oncologist and I were discussing my recent doctors for informational purposes. He told me about Dr. Drayna. I left Madison Medical to follow him to Pro Health. When he left, I longed for his return and didn't care about the long trek out to Waukesha, but after receiving a letter that he was leaving his practice, I sought a new Dr. I cried as my Onc. shared this news with me. God has gained another angel and I have lost one. My condolences to family members.

My husband and I were patients of Dr. Drayna for many years at Madison Medical. We liked and respected him so much, we followed him to Pro Health when he moved. I used to tell him he must be really good for us to take a "road trip" from Brown Deer just to see him. He'd laugh and say it's not that bad "I do it every day".
He was a Sweet Soul who always took the time to listen. I will miss him.

I just became aware of our dear Dr. Drayna's passing this past week and am so saddened to hear of it. My wife and I were in Italy when he passed and so we were out of the country and out of touch with news from home during that time. Chris was my personal physician for the past 15 years and soon became a witty partner in conversation about all manner of things with regard to life, death, health, culture and our various world travels. He was a proud alum of Marquette University where I served as dean for twenty years. He always spoke with such pride and love of his wife and children. He was a true caring professional who made sure he knew all the latest. He even conquered the switch to internet based reporting! Thank you for a wonderful man and doctor. I shall miss him for sure. I was patient of Chris for many years and developed what I think we both would call a friendship. Chris was terrific man and skilled doctor. I want his entire family to know that he was someone whom I hold close in my heart for all he did for me.

I just heard of Christopher's passing today and am truly saddened. He was my doctor, my son Stuart's doctor (Stuart is now a physician & Chris was a wonderful role model of a caring, fine doctor), and a neighbor and friend in Whitefish Bay. Our condolences go out to all in the Drayna family. When someone as fine as Chris leaves this world, it is always too soon. May you find peace as you heal and go forward.

We are both saddened and shocked to read about Dr. Drayna. He was our physician for many years while we lived in Milwaukee : thorough, patient and very funny and witty. We have often quoted funny anecdotes he shared with us.
We know he will be missed!

To the entire Drayna Family. I was shocked to hear of Dr. Drayna's death. He was my doctor for years!! No doubt about how brilliant he was! I was a very young and "sassy" patient when I first had to see him, and I was pretty sick, unbeknowst to me. Anyway, lots of follow up visits and I got better. After that, we were "friends" and I recall one visit I made him laugh sooo hard he snorted. (he had to excuse himself and leave the room and then return) it was really funny, because, well, it was!! I am so very sorry for you all, he truly was a wonderful guy. He will definitely be missed!! Prayers to you all. Meg

My deepest sympathies to the family of my absolutely phenomenal doctor for 35 years. His dry sense of humor and caring will never be forgotten. On the day I was diagnosed with breast cancer Dr. Drayna spent close to 3 hours with me. We just returned home from a trip and I was informed of his passing. I wish I could have attended the Mass. Bless you Dr. Drayna!

My doctor for 34 years. A light has gone out in my life. I knew when he came back from his leave that he was ill. Doctors like him existed 100 years ago, he treated the whole body and soul. Heaven has an amazing angel looking over us. I will truly miss you.

Dr. Drayna was our primary physician for many, many years and we thought of him as a good friend as well as a brilliant and caring doctor. He made me actually look forward to doctor visits because of his great humor, and we enjoyed talking about our kids. He was so very proud of his children. What a wonderful man, his loss will be deeply felt throughout the community.

I had been a patient with Dr. Drayna for over 40 years. I would never have not followed him to Pro-Health. I was sad to hear that he had to retire and even sadder to hear of his passing. He was a truly professional, compassionate doctor, yet had a great witty personality. I looked forward to my two visits a year with him if one can believe one wants to see a doctor at any time. He loved and spoke of his Irish children as a proud dad. Rest in peace Chris.

Not only was Chris the best physician I have ever had, but he served as one of the presidents of Internal Medicine of Milwaukee when I was clinic manager so many years ago. He was a remarkable individual, terrific diagnostician, and fair-minded executive who taught me a lot. I am so sorry for your loss. The world is a better place because of him.
