I was sad to hear of your husband passing. You may not remember ,but some years back I had the pleasure of meeting you two during a bike ride with Linda at your place on Pike Lake. We didnt stay long, but I enjoyed the time I was able to share with you two. Its hard to lose someone youve been with for most of your life, hold on to the good times. My condolence to you and your family.

My family and I used to live next store to Dan & Joyce at 5354 N. 34 street In Milwaukee WI. while growing up. I even worked for them at Dorothy's catering. Dan was great gentleman always had a quick smile. I remember our back yard neighbor gatherings for brats & beers and watching the fire works. Dan & his family are in our prayers at this time. Since we will be traveling this week, my wife Char and I regrettably will not be able to attend the visitation. I have not seen Dan or Joyce for over 50 years due to Director of Manufacturing career positions moves to South Carolina, Massachusetts, Virginia, Missouri and returning to Wisconsin. We have two daughters, two sons and 7 grandchildren , now retired living in Watertown WI.
As I said, I have a lot of pleasant memories of Dan & Joyce. It is like the movie "it is a wonderful Life". I am confident Dan touched a lot of peoples lives in a positive manner, I know he touched mine. God Bless
