David Kjer Obituary

Nov. 8, 2004 age 76 years. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Hull). Loving father of Gloria Kjer (Gary Prost), Stephen (Kathy) Kjer, Carl (Sue) Kjer and Nancy (Marvin) Peters Hopland. Grandfather of Rachel (Mike) Klemp-North, Andanie Klemp, Nathan (Kelly) Kjer, Emily Kjer, Samuel Peters and Jeremiah Peters. Great grandfather of Grace and Ashlyn Kjer. Further survived by brother Gordon (Sophie) Kjer of Greenfield, sister-in-law Dorothy Hull of Gainesville, GA, several nieces and nephews, special friends Nancy and Russell Meach, Wally Lange and many other dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents Louis and Ada Kjer, sister Gertrude Bieber, brother-in-law Gilbert Bieber, son-in-law Gary L. Peters, granddaughter Jerusha Peters and brother-in-law Donald Hull.

Visitation at the Funeral Home Thurs., Nov. 11, from 5-8 PM. Funeral Service 8:15 PM in the Chapel of Peace conducted by Rev. Sue Gaeta of Divine Word Lutheran Church, of which Dave was a lifelong member. Private interment in Montello, WI.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Divine Word Lutheran Church appreciated.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the loving care and support provided by the following: Dr. Daniel Tanty and staff of St. Josephs Regional Medical Center, Dr. Paul Nausieda and staff of the Regional Parkinson Center at Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Michael Fehrer and staff of the Bel-Air Alzhymers Center and the Heartland Hospice Care Center.
