Deborah had such insatiable, intellectual curiosity plus the passionate determination to always try to satisfy it. Many will long remember her, especially because of this. To all in her family - you are wished the patience, courage and optimism needed at this time of her sudden loss.

Madame Walther, Deborah was a classy women who I was fortunate enough to share a classroom with as we were both part time teachers at DSHA. She will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to her family at this very sad time. Please take comfort in knowing that she will be remembered daily in the beautiful faces of the students she taught. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I have had the ultimate privilege of being in the new docent class at the Milwaukee Art Museum with Deborah. I remember walking in to the classroom last September, not knowing anyone, and sitting next to Deborah. I instantly felt such enthusiasm, warmth, and natural magnetism. She was an amazing, intelligent, and interesting person and I learned so much from just knowing her - albeit too short of a time. I will never forget her - our class can't ever be the same. My heartfelt condolences to her family. May wonderful memories of Deborah get you through this most difficult, unexpected time in your lives.

I wish everyone who loved Deborah could have known her as we at Ursuline Academy in New Orleans knew her. Debby (as we called her in those days) was my classmate from first grade through high school. She was intelligent, talented, fun, creative, and mischievous. It seemed that she excelled at everything -- art, music, athletics, languages, scholarship, writing, drama.
Debby and I often shared the stage in high school theatrical productions. To me, Debby will always be the brilliant Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz creating magic on the Yellow Brick Road. My deepest condolences to her family and to all who loved her.

I am blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know Deborah through our docent class at the art museum. If she lived her life with the same intensity and dedication that was so apparent to each of us in class, I am sure that she lived her too short life to the fullest. She has left a hole for us in class that can't be filled, as I know she's left a larger hole in the lives of her family and long time friends. My condolences to you all.

Debbie was one of the joys in my life... she was my "partner in crime" throughout high school. I have so many wonderfu memories of her and feel so very lucky that I knew her. She will always be energy, and mischief and incredible talent to me. Mary Nolan Looney (New Orleans)
