Dennis Grochowski

1945 - 2016

Grochowski, Dennis Age 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Dennis was born to the late Sylvester and Nettie (nee Nowak) Grochowski on January 10, 1945. He was born and grew up in Milwaukee, WI. He worked 30+ years at Louis Allis. Dennis enjoyed classic cars (attending many car shows). He also loved 50's music and traveling Wisconsin; but his true love was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Dennis is survived by his loving wife Diana (nee Schwab) and loving children Glynis (Mona), Melita, Michael (Cindy), and Jason (Anna). His adoring grandchildren Jorin, Liam, Rachel, Hunter, and Justina. He is further survived by his brothers Delroy (Barb) Grochowski, Gerry (Marlene) Nowak, Edward (Karen) Simolon, sister in-law Joan Grochowski, sister-in law Pam (John) Woppert, many cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, and his Auntie Ethel. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Sylvester, his first wife Judy (Ucakar), and his adored daughter Trudy. A celebration of Dennis' life was prescheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2016 at White Fox Den in Waterford, WI. According to God's will the celebration happened to fall on the same day as Dennis' passing. The celebration went on as Dennis had planned (and his family and friends honored him, cried, laughed, and poured all their love out to him... they "rocked and rolled it"!!!). A very special thank you to the doctors and staff that took such good care of Dennis and extended his life 5 years after lung cancer diagnosis (especially Dr. Haider, Katrina (PA), and Jodie at the pharmacy...your love and care meant the world to Dennis and his family). Forever "Stuck-in-the 50s"...we love you and will miss you so Dad/Dennis. Until we meet again!
