Rappaport, Donald E. Sunday, April 15, 2007, age 82 years. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Homsey). Loving dad of Jim (Donna) Rappaport. Loving grandpa of Emma. Dear brother-in-law of Beverly (the late Dr. James) Homsey and Barbara (the late Joseph Homsey) Holiday. Preceded in death by his brother-in-law Jack and his wife Elsie Homsey. Also survived by his daughter Joan Rappaport, other family and friends. Memorial Service at the Funeral Home FRI., April 20, 2007, at 12 noon. Family and friends may visit from 10AM until the time of service. Private inurnment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Don was a retiree of GE Medical Systems, a member of the GE Elfun Society and a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. Was at Holy Sepulcher yesterday to visit. Very peaceful and springlike. RIP.

Grandpa was a great man. He was brave and strong. We all will miss him especially grandma, dad, mom and I.

We are glad for the family times we were able to spend with him and he will be missed. He is now at peace and without pain, having lunch with "The Big Guys."

Don was a great uncle and great friend. I will always remember the camping and bicycling trips. He taught us all a lot and will truly be missed.
