Dear family,
I was the pastor at St. Bernard Parish and visited Tom and Lois when she was ill. I was presider at her funeral and thus got to know them. I add my prayers and condolences to all who sent them your way. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Peter Drenzek

When I began at vonBriesen, Redmond, Schilling and Kreunen in 1977, Tom would wear a cravat to work on Saturdays, and was responsible (I was told) for the sign in the firm's library that said: "Old lawyers never die; they just lose their appeal." Beginning to understand his wonderful sense of humor, I supplemented that knowledge seeing his delightful antics at the firm's Martinez-hosted Christmas parties. I saw his devotion to good practice daily, and his preparation for that U.S. Supreme Court argument made him our role model. I am so glad I learned so much from Tom!
Lovingly,
Christy Brooks

Great memories of working with Tom for many years. Especially our time together working on his U S Supreme Court brief in a significant case which we won for a major client. Tom will certainly be missed.

I enjoyed practicing with Tom at the von Briesen firm in Milwaukee many years ago. Although an estate planner and not a litigator, Tom successfully argued a tax case in the US Supreme Court, something no one else in the firm had ever done. He spoke proudly and often of his two children Steve and Sarah. Tom enjoyed an excellent reputation in the estate planning community. May he rest in peace with his wife Lois.
