My deepest sympathies to Ed's family. May God grant him peaceful rest.

Ed was a 20 plus year veteran when I started as a rookie, fresh out of the Army, on the MCSD, but he treated us with friendship, understanding and respect as he helped us "learn the ropes".

Always calm and pleasant, always smiling, he was a pleasure to work for and with. But he was also a good leader, serious and brave, when the situation required it. He never mistreated his men and he never asked us to do anything he wouldn't do himself. Like any good leader, he "took care of his men".

I was privileged to have served with Ed. God bless him and the loved ones he leaves behind.

Deepest sympathy on your loss, Michelle. Sarg was so very kind to visit Mama from time to time after Daddy died. His sense of humor and engaging personality always made her smile. And I can still remember his kind words at Daddy's funeral. They were a great source of comfort to our family. God bless you and your family at this difficult time. We are with you in thought and prayer. Bridget

Ed's smile could light up a room and your day. He brought a sense of positivity to every situation.

We were blessed to know him from living in the same neighborhood - Wellauer Heights Neighborhood Association (WHNA).

We are sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
