I'm disappointed that we can not be with you at this time. Practically, I'm having minor surgury and Judy needs to assist me. The real reason is that Judy is barely over losing Bob and just plain can't handle it. Looking back over the last few months pehaps we should have been involved in grief counsling. Your Mom was special to us, always there for Ruth and the Ley family and we will always miss her and remember her in our paryers.

Grandma, you are well loved & will be missed dearly.
Thankfully we all have many fond memories to carry us through. Here are a couple of mine ~ I remember you trying out my skateboard when I was young, and my moped when I was older (even though it made Mom nervous). I remember stories you would tell me of when you were younger & played basketball in school. I also remember how much you loved golf and bowling (I still have your towel in my bowling bag). And more recently, I loved to watch how your face would light up when you saw the great-Grandchildren ~ you were a proud & well-loved mother, grandma, and great-grandma!
I'm sure Grandpa, Aunt Ruth, Robb and many others welcomed you with open arms as you made your way into heaven just in time to celebrate Valentine's day (o:
I love you & will think of you often watching over us.

I'm sorry that I cannot be with all of you to celebrate Aunt Flossy's life. I always loved spending time together with her and my Grandma when I was a little girl. She was adored by many and will be greatly missed. My love and prayers go out to her entire family.
