Grandpa, you were a very hardworking and generous man to say the least. You helped me get to where I am today, and in any situation approached my mother and I with open arms. It comforts me to know that you are in a better place. I will miss you with all my heart, I love you Grandpa.

Kenny, It has been a real joy watching you turn into the confident, strong, careing man you have become. Your grandpa and your parents have a lot to be proud of. Remember that you are surrounded by people who care about you and now you are forever being watched over by someone who loves you. Let his love wash over you and keep you strong during this time, and know that you have many, many shoulders to lean on when you need one, and as your granpa goes on to that next thing that we will all one day one day face, we wish him God Speed.

Kenny,
I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather. I cannot imagine the sorrow you are feeling, I never really knew my grandparents that well so it makes it hard for me to understand what you are feeling. All I can offer is that you at least knew your grandfather. I know it's hard to have lost him, but what really matters are the memories that you have (I know it's cheesy but it's true!). On top of that, you have some amazing friends who here to support you in this time. I hope that your sorrow does not last too long, but if it does, know that there is someone here to listen and help you through it. Best wishes.

KENNY!!

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your grandpa. knowing that he is a Pinkos gives me no doubt in my mind that he was a great man just like you are. I'm pretty convinced that you're grandpa is so proud of the man you are becoming. You are kind to everyone, a great listener, even better of a friend, and generally nice to everyone you meet and with no judgments at all. You're grandpa is now looking down at you and is watching you continue to grow into a man he is proud of and loves. I love you Kenny and if you need anything at all I'm always here and I think you know that. Hang in there bud and just remember the good times :)

Kenny, You're in my thoughts and prayers. Our prayer go out to you and your family Pius XI Wrestling Team.
Here is a poem that might help you. one of my favorites by Henry Scott Holland called Death is nothing at all

Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household world that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It it the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,
Just around the corner.
All is well.

Even though i never had the pleasure of meeting Grandpa Pinkos, I know he touched the lives of many especially his daughter and grandson. Kenyaree is one of the most important people in my life and I know what his grandpa meant the world to him. I know you will always be remembered by his family and others and I also know that kenny will do any and everything to take care of your family. To stephanie and kenny, i will always be here if you need anything, i love you both very much, but you are both strong individuals and i know through time you will realize that grandpa pinkos is in a better place! stay strong!

Kenny!
I just heard the news, and I couldn't help myself from tearing up a little bit. I know what you're going through, but you're so strong. It's hard to go through the grief of losing someone you love. But just keep reminding yourself that you are loved, and oh so cared about and your Grandpa would be so proud of the person you are, you're awesome Kenny! Love you always!

Kenny,
I am so truly sorry for the loss of your grandpa. I remember you talking about him once in a while, but I have no idea why I didn't ask you about him more. Everyone says he had a huge impact on your life and I'm so happy you had someone like that :)
Just remember how many people you have that care so much about you and don't forget how much I love you! I am always here for you whenever you and your family need it.

Kenyaree,
I never knew your Grandpa but I know how much of an impact he had on your life so when I heard of his passing I could feel how much it hurt for you. While his passing is a tragedy, always think of who he was and how he affected your life because those memories are the one's that can pick someone up and help them move forward. I'll make sure to keep you and your family in my prayers. Stay strong, love you buddy.

Steff and Kenyaree, I was very sad to hear about your dad and grandpa. Unfortunately I only met him once but he seemed like a really nice guy. I know he was proud of Kenyaree and helped him get ready for college. Only nice guys would do that. I also know he will be missed by those who knew and loved him. But the pain will subside eventually and then you will be able to smile when you remember him and think about the good things that he did and the good times you had together. You both have been in my thoughts ever since I heard the news and you have all my sympathy.

I didn't personally know Grandpa Pinkos but I heard nothing but good things from his grandson Kenyaree. He helped him get ready for his first year of college with getting him a lot of needed things. Seeing the smile on Kenny's face when he was showing me those things was so cute that it put a smile on my face. You could tell Kenny loved his Grandpa very much. I also heard stories about him from Stephanie of how much he loved to talk, mostly about food too. He sounded like a very lovely man and he liked his food, can't be mad about that! I'm sorry that we never got the chance to meet, but I know that Kenny and Stephanie are going to miss you very much but are also going to keep the memories of you in their hearts forever. Just remember that he will always be there for you guys!

Dear Stephanie and Kenyaree, We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad and your grandpa. I am sure he loved you both very much. It was good to read that he was so happy that Kenny was attending UW-Eau Claire to pursue his degree. We are all very proud of you Kenyaree. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with both of you and your family at this very hard time.

Dad, you were the best father I could have asked for. I take comfort in knowing you are with "Buzzy" watching him chase squirrels in Heaven. I will never be able to thank you enough for all you did to make sure Kenyaree had what he needed to start college. I look forward to the day when this loss doesn't hurt so much and I can focus on all the special memories I have of you just being my dad. I will love and miss you every day of my life. Your loving daughter, Stephanie
