South Milwaukee - Born to eternal life on February 23, 2021, at age 92 years. Beloved husband for 47 years to the late Dolores (Scott). Cherished father of Veronica (Jeff) Lamster, Cathy (Mark) Goodwin Smoody, Michael (Glenna) Goodwin, David (Susan) Goodwin. Proud grandpa of Lindsey (Alex) Fojtik, Justin Smoody, Janelle (Coty) Harris, Alex (Kaitlin) Goodwin, Nick (Shannon) Goodwin, Nathan Goodwin, Jamie (Jake) Lois, Stephanie (Nick) Manning, Michael (Tonia) Lamster. Dear great-grandpa of Calvin, Sydney, Colton, Brodie, Bryson, Haley, Easton, William, Jackson, and the late Harleigh. Treasured brother of Thomas Goodwin, Bernice Goodwin, and preceded in death Clarence (Carol) Goodwin and John (Gloria) Goodwin.
Visitation THURSDAY, March 4, 2021 from 9:30 AM-11 AM at Divine Mercy Parish Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee, 800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Cemetery to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bell Telephone American Legion Post 0427 are appreciated.

My friend was always a distinguished gentleman. I had the opportunity to dance with him at Southside Scholarship events, assist the honor guard he was part of at Molthen Bell funerals, and work with him on the St. Francis Historical Society activities. I remember him walking in the St. Francis Days parade. He so loved life, family , friends and country. He will be missed. Glad that you are reunited with the love of your life, Dolores. May the peace only Jesus can give be with him and his family and friends as we mourn the loss of a good and faithful servant, Jim. God bless you, Jim, until we meet again on the other side. Carol L. We will surely miss our belived Uncle Jim. Always a positive attitude that brought optimism, hope and fun with his presence, there will be a void without him but I lnow one day we will see you and Aunt Delores again!
