Karen, Jeff and Vince: We just heard of the great, calamity with visited you this week. It is a hopeless task to try to express our feelings by mere words, but I want you to know how much we sympathize with you in this time of sorrow.
The untimely death of John is an irreparable loss. It brings home to us the heartaches and sadness that is always with us. But cruel as life can be, it is far better for us who carry on to put forth a little extra effort above an beyond what we would have ordinarily put forth--as a slight token to our determination to do our best, and that in the memory of those for whom we care. You can be sure, that your many, many friends are with you in spirit in this hour.

To the Gaudes Family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathies for your loss.
As a tradesman that worked for John throughout the years, I can say that John was always well liked by my crew and I. His projects were second to nobody. Quality, detail and flair for design were identifing marks of all of his projects. John will be greatly missed in the building industry.
