I was sad to hear of John's passing. My heartfelt condolences to his family. John was a mentor of mine in my early days in the fluid power business. He always loved to share his knowledge and took pride in his engineering expertise. And the people around him were the better for that. May you find peace in knowing the good man that he was.

Our dealership family feels like we lost a family member. Our sympathies to Lea and the entire family. John Hansen enjoyed us nicknaming him "Jonny Walker" for his exercise routine, always walking the lot , checking the car doors and building doors, he was like our weekend security, later becoming a part of our driver crew. He will be missed. May you all find peace knowing he was a good Christian .

My sympathies to the entire Hansen family. I know I'm not alone when I say that John Hansen made a real difference in my life. When I first moved to Mukwonago, I was largely on my own, and John was the first and most frequent neighbor to come over, check on me, and show his concern. He took extra time to help me find my way around the area, and suggested contractors to help me fix that which needed fixing. His wife Lea was equally caring, inviting me to dinner, and helping me feel at home. I'm sorry to say that I had to leave these wonderful neighbors in Mukwonago shortly after John became ill, but was able to visit a few times since and I also value my relationship with Lea very much. I hope to continue to be an occasional visitor when I can. I will greatly miss John Hansen's quiet strength, his sensitive caring, his dry humor, and his black cowboy hat.

One of my many fathers I had growing up in Howard WI. I was blessed with good friends that came from great families. I was simply known as Goon and could walk in "pretty much" whenever I needed. John was always kind and had a smile or grin on his face. He was a great man and will be missed by many. Being such a powerful man, you will all feel his presence at times when you need him again. Love Always Jim / Goon
