John was a dedicated public servant and did a fabulous job as Coroner for Ozaukee County. I am proud to have known him personally and worked with him on a professional level. What a great legacy of service and commitment to our community.

John was a special neighbor and friend to the Backes family. He was always available whenever needed. His sense of humor and camaraderie will be remembered. He had a good heart and was always kind and helpful towards others. He passed on, not away. He is tucked safely in your heart and will always be with you.
