John, I only knew you a short time but you made a permanent memory for me. You would come to our blood drives to pick up the blood and you would always leave behind the warmth of your smile. You were always so patient even when we weren't ready. I'll miss you. Linda, I only met you once or twice but I wish you the warmth and strength of God's arms as you go through this difficult time.

Dear Uncle Butch,
As cousin Jackie stated you may have been christened John, but you will always be "Uncle Butch".
You were my mother's baby brother and how she relished that. You were always there with a smile and a joke and came to help when needed.
While I did not spend a lot of time with you, those occassions when we were together will always be a cherished part of my memories of you-at the farm, the house in Duluth and in Wisconsin.
I know you will be missed by your family and especially Linda.
I know Cousin "Baby" Fred and his family will miss those outings with Grandpa but will always remember the ones already shared.
May those you leave behind find peace and comfort knowing you have gone to a much better place.
Love, your niece Mary Agnes

Your given name was John but to me you'll be my Uncle Butch. You were always kind, gentle, loving and caring. You once told me that Linda was the love of your life and obviously she was as she shared your
life until the too early end.
Even though there was alot of time and distance between us you were always in my thoughts and my heart.
You're in God's hands now but you'll always be a part of me. Say
"Hi" to Daddy for me and tell him I miss him.
Relax now and let God guide you through.
Love you always Uncle Butch now and forever.
My thoughts are with you Linda and Freddie. Take care.

How quickly things happen. I'll always remember Uncle "Butch" as a jovial guy who was always smiling. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Linda, Fred and family.
