John Linke was a person in my life i will not soon forget. He was an imposing figure with a gentle quietness about him. His booming voice and big laugh was always good to hear. He was my cousin and i spent many wonderful days with he and his family while growing up. I especially think of John as i entered young adulthood and all the help and advice he offered when i needed it. I will miss him.

To the Linke Family.
It is with great sadness that I heard about the passing of my cousin John. We grew up together and shared so many wonderful times. I followed him closely from his football days at Rufus King High School, to Marquette University and his postgraduate studies at Detroit University. John and I could talk about everything, especially our families, and usually we saw eye to eye. We would always laugh about the pranks he would pull on his father. They were legendary. John had strong convictions. You always knew how he felt. He was so proud of his family, especially his love for his children. They were his pride and joy. Today is a sad day for me, but I am comforted that he is resting comfortably. He was my friend and I will never forget him. Ron & Rita Benz

Oh, such fond memories as we (Bruce and I) would spend time with John and Dolly. We would visit together, share stories, dine, and see some great shows too. We (Dolly and I) will miss our loved ones until we are together again. In the meantime, Bruce and John can share some quality time together. Blessings to the family. Love, Vicki
