Margaret Ann Linke

Margaret Ann Linke, age 78, of Pemberville and formerly of Woodville, OH, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Regency Hospital of Oregon. She was born in Salem, OH on April 22, 1947 to Donald R. and Ruth A. (Knopp) Emch. While Margaret was blessed with 4 daughters from a previous marriage. She found love again and on May 7, 1983 Margaret married Burton "Burt" Linke, in Pemberville, OH. Margaret and Burt blended their families and have celebrated over 42 years of marriage together.
In addition to being a home maker and taking care of her family, Margaret worked as a Bookkeeper for Helm Insurance, and later as a Realtor for Home Town Reality. She enjoyed Music, dancing, boating with Burt, reading, and playing jokes. She was always very kind to others always offering the hospitality of her home to those that may need it. Nevertheless, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially all of her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Burt, Margaret is survived by her children: Dawn Thaman of Cincinnati, Jennifer Meece of Rossford, Dana (Steve) Korn of Perrysburg, Nathan (Angelina) Vaquera-Linke of GA, Annie Bush of Pemberville, and Katie (Joe) O'Neil of Perrysburg. Grandchildren: Lindsy (Eli) Briggs, Samantha (Cody) Tait, Bailey Korn, Elijah Thaman, Lucy Thaman, Austin (Jessica) Meece, Aubrey Vaquera, Oscar Vaquera-Linke, Sawyer Vaquera-Linke, Joseph O'Neil, Jason O'Neil, great-grandchildren: Logan, Ethan, Allie, brother; Donald (Margie) Emch and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Catherine Gilbert and Son-in-Law; Kenny Meece.
Family and friends will be received 9-11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street Woodville, OH. Officiating will be her son-in-law, Pr. Steve Korn. Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery, Woodville, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
A bereavement luncheon will be served at the Overflow Event Center, 100 E. Main Street in Woodville, immediately following the committal services at the cemetery.
