I am so sorry to hear about Jonathan's death. We were assistant principals together back in the 1990s. We kept in touch on and off while working in MPS these past years. He was a great guy and a wonderful colleague of mine. He will be truly missed.

I am so sorry to hear that Mr. Leinfelder has passed. Although I am joyful to hear he is with loved ones in heaven now. He was a kind compassionate man and educator to my children and our community. He was great with parents too at Hartford Ave. I send my love and condolences to his family. My prayers are with you. ❤✝

I saw Jonathon a few months ago while subbing at Washington HS so I was speechless when I heard of his passing. I worked with Jonathon at Hartford University School and will never forget his kindness and support. My most vivid memory of Mr. Leinfelder was on 9/11. He came into my classroom, turned on the news and helped my students and I calmly get through that horrific morning....for that I am eternally grateful. He will be profoundly missed.
Unable to attend the service, please accept my condolences.

I'm at very grateful to God for letting Mr. Jonathan Leinfelder into the lives of the Dinsmore Family via Washington High School. Mr. Leinfelder was such a sweetheart to me & my husband and we're grateful for his kindness, loving spirit and support during the basketball season. To his wife, children and family, the Bible tells us weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. Mr. Leinfelder is resting from his labors and has gone to get his reward. God Bless and be encouraged!

There are no words that I can offer to take away any of your pain, but I'm hoping that you can find some comfort knowing that Mr. L's perpetual smile and heart of gold at Washington High School, stemmed from the joy that you, Cindy, and Sara, Andrew, and Emily brought him every single day. Not a teaching day went by that Mr. L. didn't drop into my classroom or stop me in the hallway just to make sure that everything was okay, and that through every interaction--regardless its length--he'd update me with the latest grandson pic or the most recent conversation he had with you, Cindy, or with Sara, Andrew, or Emily. The daily love and support that all of you provided, sustained Mr. L. throughout many trying days in MPS, and, thankfully, supported his teachers along the way. Mr. L. touched SO many lives because of how you, Cindy, and Sara, Andrew, and Emily, touched his. Thank you for sharing him with us.
