Judy my Lovey Wife
You are with me in my "man Cave" every day!
I am looking at the pictures, of us departing from
the Carnival Cruse ships, on top of the computer
desk. You will always be in my heart. I assume that you look down once in awhile and view our
Great Grand son Jack who I have nicknamed
"JACKPOT" because surely he is a winner. I may not always write to you, but you know that I think of daily. You where the best part of my life. I have a
lovely lady, Vivian, now. and God willing we will all meet one day.

Judy Dear
Christmas eve with Cindy's parents, her brother Jeff and his kids, their relatives, our two sons with wives and our lovely grandchildren was very nice with one exception. You were not there!
But you were there in my heart. You know by now that I have a nice lady friend named "Toni". She was at the Scott's with all of us. We are going to Nick and Cindys for a Christmas dinner this evening.
Remembering and loving you, Don

Darling Judy, here it is Thanksgiving again and I miss our family dinners together. Whether at home, at Nick and Cindys or at a restaurant. You worked very hard to make things great. I was nice to get together as a family. This year Nick, Cindy, Rachel and "little" Nick will be celebrating in Tomahawk with Cindys parents. I will be taking Donald and Sandy to the Golden Mast. We all went there a long time ago, I believe for "little" Nicks first comunion dinner. Life is not the same without you. Well maybe, if I behave, I will be with you in heaven.
I will love and remember you forever.

Shortly after the AngelsGrace bike show I had a dream not of a memory but an event. It was as if I were awake and mom came and gave me a hug and a smile. I talked with my brother about it the next day and he had a dream the same night where he was with mom and aunt Shirley. Thanks Mom and god for that visit, I miss you. Love Nick

Hi Judy dearest.
It's July 4th and I am thinking of you as usual. Holidays are not the same without you. I am surrounded by pictures of you with a happy smile on your face (in the Dells, Orlando, The good ship Fantasy in the Bahamas) We did have quite a few good special times and a pretty good life together.
I realy miss you.

Dearest Judy
Here it is the 53rd anniversary of our wedding, May 20th 1957. That was the best moment in my life to that point and things just got better in spite of the normal bumps on the road of life.
I will always remember and love our time together.

Hi Judy my love
It has been one year ago today that you left for a better place. I think of, and miss, you all of the time. The day is bright and sunny outdoors, but my heart is cloudy without you. Your love was the greatest thing that ever happened to my life. Some day we will be together again, God willing.
Until then you will always be number one in my heart.
Love, Don

Hi Grandma,
It has almost been a year since you have been gone and I still think about you every day. The last few days we have been getting a lot of sun and I look up and the crystal blue skies, and just think about your eyes. I know you look out for me down here and I am reminded each day of you in some way. I love you :)

Hi grandma,
I was walking to class before exams the other week and tripped on the ice. I was so mad about it and embarassed I went into Starbucks in Madison and waited for a coffee. "Singing in the Rain" came on and I wanted to sing out loud to it. I miss you so much and think about you every day. I hope you are having a good time up there, and one day I will see you again and we can sing "Singing in the Rain" and you can make me an ice cream sundae like you always used it. I love you!

Hi Judy
It is a little after noon on Christmas day. Pinky and I have been holding down the fort so far.
The kids & grand kids are coming to visit some time this afternoon.
I have to assume that you are having a merry Christmas, but I'm going to say/write it anyway, A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy ETERNITY.
If I am worthy, hopefully we will be there together forever someday
Its just not the same here without you.
Love, Don

Hi Hon
It's Christmas Eve and it not the same without you.
Going to Nick & Cindys in about an hour.
Rae is home from college for about a month so I will be able to see her and little Nick who is not so "little" any more.
It seems that he is taller than his mom. If you can whisper in his ear so that he studies a little harder. You and I would like to see him get into a good college when the time comes. Of course he will have to want that too.
I still, and will always, miss you
Love, Don
PS: Church an I haven't connected yet, I guess I will continue to eliminate the "middle" man
November 26, 2009
Good morning Honey
Happy Thanksgiving!
Cindy & Nick have invited me to dinner this afternoon,
which is nice. Rae is home from school and it will be great to see her and "little" Nick. I have been advised that our Headstone is in Lily, and more than likely, I will go to see it this weekend. I emailed Toddy who told me that she had a premonition that tht stone was in Lily, so maybe YOU told her. I have become aquainted with a young lady who has invited me to attend her church this weekend, only time will tell how Church and I feel toward each other.
Keep an eye on me, and please make sure I stay on the straight and narrow path, so that I may join you in paradise someday.
I miss you.
Love forever, Don

Hi Hon
It has been six months since you found peace. Nick is at Angles Grace tonight learning to help with things. He's a good "kid". Rae had the flu, but is over it and is now back in college. Little Nick is getting bigger and better looking each time that I see him. You already know all of this stuff but I thought I'd mention it. Donald seems to be getting by. He, Nick & I went to the Harley deal in Tomahawk. I stopped by & talked to sister Toddy for awhile. Thats about it for now.
Love Forever, Don.

Hi Hon
"Little Nick" is a teenager as of yesterday. He gets better looking and smarter every time I see him. Also it was back to school for him, as well.
Cindy had a pizza party for him at home attended by "Big Nick", grandparents Bill & Toni Scott, Jessica and myself. Rachel was in Madison getting ready for her first day of college which is today. The garden on the hill in the back yard, as you can most likely see, is starting to take shape. I will put a chair for you and I on one of the upper landings. You will be there in my heart. I visited Donald last weekend and he seems to be very busy and content. He, Nick and I are planning to be in Tomahawk for Bike Week later this month. I'll write again soon.
Love forever, Don.

Hi Hon
Rachel graduated from high school with honors last week end. Today, of course, she reached her 18th birthday. Yesterday her mom & dad had a very nice well attended party for her. She is now the proud & happy owner of the "Panda & Chain" of yours that you wanted her to have. I miss you an think of you all of the time.
Love forever. Don

Judy
We did't have a fancy wedding 52 years ago
I remember our witnesses, Cliff and Helen also the Justice of The Peace on May 20 1957. I loved you then and I love you now.
Nick and I visited "our space" in Lily last weekend. It looks very peacefull, right near your Mom, Dad and sister Shirlee.
Eventually you and I will rest there together again. In the meanwhile you are in my heart and mind all of the time.
Happy 52nd Wedding Anniversary!
Love forever, Don.
