3rd month 2nd Tuesday (Christmas 2004)

Karen loved to party and was always the "organizer". This picture was from one of our 3rd month 2nd Tuesday gatherings.
She always made things fun.
I didn't get to know Karen until she already had her "MENDED HEART" and was "cheating death". I always admired her love of life and how she just kept on going on trips, to parties, out to eat, cooking, and the list goes on. I will never forget this "little spitfire of a lady" and all the good times we had.

I met Karen 24 years ago and have been her manicurist/friend for many many years. I am honored to have known such a Wonderful Sweet Lady who made our "Monthly" sessions full of Laughs and Great Memories! She cared deeply for her family and always wanted the best for them!
My thoughts and Prayers go out to all of you and I will TRULY MISS HER!

Karen and I met when we worked at the Bakery on 13th and Morgan. We used to get in trouble, like dropping a pan of Cream Puffs when the boss was still their unloading. We would lift the top off the coffee cake and use our finger to get some cream. Nauty/Nauty. She would Baby Sit for 10 cents an hour .We would dress up in my Husbands army uniform and take crazy pictures. we had alot of good times but had not kept in touch for some years. You are remembered in Prayer. Kelly and family I'm sorry for your loss. Dave I'm so sorry for your loss.

Karen
I was so happy I got to spend 8 quality years with you. Week nights and weekends while me and Kelly grew up together. You took me in almost every night. You were a great mother and a 2nd mom to me all those years. I was so grateful for that time of my life. I told you this years ago and I'm glad I got the chance to see you one last time:). May you finally be at peace and pain free.
