I was saddened to read of Larry's passing. As a longtime upper elementary educator at Edgewood School in Greenfield, I was able to work with Larry often throughout the years. It was an honor and a pleasure to do so. Larry was a consummate professional....skilled, compassionate and truly interested in helping others. He touched so many lives in his work in Greenfield as well as with Schmidt and Bartelt. It was a joy to know him.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your husband, dad and papa. You and your families are in my prayers. It's been a long time since I've seen any of you, but remember you often when I'm driving around Brookfield. Please take care and say hi to everyone for me.

Judy and family,
I met Larry when I first came to GMS in early 1972. Several years later I moved to GHS, and continued to work with him until his retirement.
I was deeply saddened to hear of his death. He was the most caring, kindest and comforting man in the district. He was always gracious, easy to work with, and no matter the size of the problem on the table, Larry was always the calming voice of reason. He was never without warmth or a welcoming smile!! A truly loving man.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Be comforted to know that in all my years in Greenfield, no one ever spoke a harsh word against Larry! How could they? What a wonderful man! You are so blessed to have been his family.
