Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Loretta Lustig (nee Van Gaal), loving husband Arthur Guidinger, brother-in-law Robert Guidinger and sister-in-law Ida Marie (nee Dyal) Guidinger. Dear mother of John, Jim, Joe (Carla), June (Ken) Schlager, Jerome, Jeff (Melissa), Jean, Jay (Khai), Janet (Mike) Loesche and Joy (Mark) Danielski. Beloved godmother to Rose Nelson (nee Guidinger) and Isaac Lindner. Friend of Bernie (Renee) Lindner and their children Isaac, Eli and Nathan. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Lois was a lifelong Catholic who prayed daily a special devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary. Lois was a 1955 Graduate of Messmer High School. She went on to become a Licensed Beautician. A member of many clubs, she was especially active in the "Lois Club", rarely missing a convention in over 20 years. She maintained a wonderful group of friends that loved to swim, travel, play dominos and cards. She was an avid supporter of all her grandchildren's activities. She welcomed everyone into her home and was always ready with a homemade snack or treat. All who knew Lois were well fed and loved.

Dear Family,
So very sorry for the loss of your dad and now your mother.

Lois and I grew up in the same neighborhood and went to Holy Redeemer
grade school together and then on to Messmer High School.
We lost contact over the years only to meet up again when we moved to
Pewaukee and happily joined Queen of Apostles church seventeen years ago.

We would always see each other at Mass. Lois was always praying the rosary before Mass began and always had a big smile and a hug.

I will miss seeing Lois and Art, but will forever keep them in my prayers and in my heart.

Peace, Elaine (Jaschek) Klassen

The Guidinger family,
I am so sorry to hear of Lois' passing. She was such a wonderful person. Always caring and giving and always a positive attitude. She was so proud of her family. Over the years of having the privilege of being Lois's hairstylist I feel I have come to know her entire family including the grandchildren, even though I have never met any of you. My heart goes out to all of you at her loss and may you always hold dear the many beautiful memories you have of her as I will. She is at peace, though we miss her, she will always be in our thoughts, and those whose hearts she has touched will be forever grateful for having her in our lives. To a beautiful woman.... I will miss you Lois! Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Guidinger Family,
Our first meeting of your mom and dad happened when they became our new neighbors when we lived on Duplainville Road. When your mom talked me into joining the Lois Club, a real friendship developed. We usually drove together to the Lois luncheons. We flew to three Lois Conventions together and were roommates several times. At night she always prayed a long time before going to bed.
Of course, we also did the comical skits together at the conventions and then performed them locally for the Loises who had not attended the national convention.
Lois was very amicable and a pleasure to be with.
We hope it comforts you to know that we mourn with you and hold you in our thoughts and prayers.

Peace and blessings,
Bob and Lois Severson

Dear Guidinger Family,
You are in our hearts and prayers as we mourn with you at this sad time. Lois will be greatly missed by all the Loises in the Greater Milwaukee area Lois Club. She was always wonderful to visit with at our Lois luncheons. After she had been to a Lois Convention, she would always share that experience at our local lunches. The fun part was watching her in the humorous skit performed at the convention. We had lots of laughs together.
Lois also participated in a small group of local Loises who would meet between the larger gatherings. We would meet at each other's homes and bring a dish to pass while the hostess prepared the entree. As you Guidingers know, Lois was a good cook. We loved the food she prepared, too. She always gave good advice on making a good kettle of soup and German potato salad.
We know how proud she was of all you Guidingers because she kept us informed of family births, baptisms, first communions, birthday gatherings, and graduations.
We were blessed to have been able to visit with Lois at our last luncheon on September 29th - so glad she was able to attend.
Farewell, Lois, as you enter the next stage of life. Enjoy the happiness you have earned.
