Margaret Durkin Obituary

Durkin, Margaret F. (Nee Epp) Of Milwaukee, formerly of New York City and Minneapolis. Entered into Eternal Life on July 22, 2006 at age 80. Cherished daughter of the late Eugene and Marie (nee Wetzel) Epp. Beloved wife of 55 years of the late Thomas A. Durkin. Loving mother of Eugene C. (Ida) Durkin, M.D., Marianne Durkin and Marguerite Durkin and proud grandmother of Ann Katherine and Laura Rose Durkin. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Prior to her marriage, Margaret worked as an executive secretary in New York City for several major corporations and institutions, including the Walt Disney Co., Burlington Industries and New York University. After raising her family, Margaret returned to work, most recently as the office administrator of Hill-Rom Co., Inc.'s Minneapolis sales office from which she retired in 1987. We will always remember best her outgoing and vivacious personality. And while we deeply miss our dear mother and grandmother, we take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited in eternal peace with her beloved Tom, our dear father and grandfather. The family whishes to thank the many relatives, friends and colleagues who have been so supportive and thoughtful during this very difficult time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 10:30 AM at ST. ROBERT'S CATHOLICH CHURCH, (corner of E. Capitol Dr. and N. Farwell Ave., Shorewood). Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margaret's name to St. Robert Parish, 4019 N. Farwell Ave., Shorewood, WI 53211, appreciated. FEERICK FUNERAL HOME 414-962-8383
