Mary Sachs Obituary

Sachs, Mary L. (Nee Biederer) April 4, 1930 - May 14, 2013, of Elm Grove, WI and Naples, FL. Survived by her husband Dick of 64 years and her children Richard Jr. (Diane), Catherine Sachs and Diane Sachs. Grandchildren Joseph (Katie) Wolf, Kathryn Sachs (Rick Weismiller- fiancee), Jane Sachs, Mary A. Sachs. Further survived by her family and friends. Mary passed peacefully at home. Private services were held. After her husband and family, gardening was her love. Over the years she shared her Elm Grove garden with her family, friends and strangers. Hundreds of her plants have found homes in gardens throughout the community. After almost two years of courageous battle, Mary lost her fight with cancer. Many thanks to the kind souls at Horizon Home Hospice that enabled her to spend her final days at home, among her family, close to her garden.

We will miss Mary, a wonderful gardener. She shared many plants with the Southeast Wisconsin Master Gardeners for our plant sale. She will be truly missed.
