Lisbon - Passed away peacefully October 7, 2019, age 93. Reunited with his loving wife Mary E. (nee Pruitt). Loving father of Walter (Barb) Bartelt, the late Rhoda (the late Bob) Squires, Denise G. (Mike) Deneen, Susan (Rich) Goebel, Melvin H. "Skip" (Laura) Bartelt, and Mary Ellen (Mike) Ratzburg. Proud grandfather of Chad, Angie, Rob, Garrett, Tina, Chris, Steph, Katie, Daniel, Greg, Pat and great grandfather of Talulla, Lillian, Travis, Madison, and Kaleigh. Dear brother of the late Ethel, Harold, the late Don, Ken, Bernie and the late Darlene. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation at the Funeral home on Friday, October 18 from 10:00 AM, until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Process to Lisbon Central Cemetery for interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials to AngelsGrace Hospice are appreciated. Melvin was a WWII veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
