I was very sorry to of Paul's passing. He interviewed me and hired me at Northwestern Mutual. Although I never reported directly to him, we worked closely together for many, many years. He also accompanied me and others from the department to several Badger road football games. He especially enjoyed the ones at Iowa City because the Badgers always lost.

I am sorry to hear that Paul Kinsey has left us. He interviewed me and offered me my first job at Northwestern Mutual. I only have good memories of him. He was a kind man with wonderful values that he lived all the time. He made a positive difference in so many lives.

January 22, 2010

Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote "tho much is taken, much remains" Much remains of Paul Kinsey; his family, his leadership, his mentoring, the houses and churches that he helped to build. I personally will miss the laundry room discussions and the occassional glass of wine shared with Paul and Helen while we discussed the weighty issues of living at Serafino. The building is somehow emptier, knowing that Paul doesn't live here anymore.

Rest in peace my friend. It was great knowing you.

Dear Helen,
I am very sorry for your loss. I met Paul when he hired me in 1965. My first impression of him was of a kind, gentle, and patient man. Nothing in the next forty plus years changed that first impression. My sympathy to you and your family. Tom Davis

Dear Dave, Kathy and Family
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Dave's Father. I don't believe Dean knows you come from a Hawkeye family. We often have the Hawkeyes on in our home. We see so much more of them now with Big Ten TV.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.
