Theresa and Carlos,
Your Dad attended many of our Veterans Day assemblies, at the various schools, in the Shorewood School District. Over the years, he was introduced as a guest of honor to hundreds of students for his service to our country. I remember that your Dad always came in his dress uniform. It was very special. Thank you for sharing your Dad with so many of us. My heartfelt sympathy to both of you and your families.

Debbie and Family;
It was hard to believe that Pete had passed, our prayers & thoughts go out to you.
Everytime I would call him, all I heard was His low voice on the recording Pete- and when I got him, he never would shut up. He was a talker, and a friend. I will miss him for that.We meet Pete and Deb at the old Legion Post and grew to become good friends,thou we drifted alittle this last year due to the new baby that had arrived and Peter taking on more legion work. The both of them were always in our thoughts. Peter has left us too early and will be missed by all of us. I hope he finally found peace. We hope the family will too. If you ever need to talk, just call.
WITH LOVE ALWAYS,
MICHAEL& RANDI

Debbie, Theresa, Carlos, and all family: I wanted to put in writing how deeply saddened I am for your loss.
I have been best friends with Theresa since 1991 and she has shared many stories about how wonderful, kind, goal-oriented, strong, compassionate and selfless her Father is!
I remember at dinner a few months back when you we were at a restaurant sitting together, I wanted to sit next to your dad to try to feel close to a "Father" again after the recent loss of my Father. I remember calling Pete "Old Salty Dog" because he was always upfront and passionate about whatever he was talking about! I loved that attribute of your Father...there was no beating around the bush with him!
I feel very lucky to have been blessed with having Theresa as a friend. Theresa, your dad has always been very proud to call you his daughter. He knew if he wanted something done right, you were the person to get it right the first time, a quality that military-bred folk find comfort and solace in.
Hold tight to all the wonderful memories and special interactions you have had with your Dad. You told me a few weeks ago that you father had said "I love you Theresa" more in the last month then he did your whole life. Let me tell you this, my sweet, your dad didn't have to verbalize that he loved you because the WHOLE world saw this in both his smile and the twinkle in his eye...how much he LOVES you! Now it is YOUR turn to spread his smile and twinkle to the world, as his baby girl and his only daughter. ?
Peace and love to your family T. I love you
