Peter Spera Obituary

Spera, Peter J. Entered Eternal Life on June 19, 2015 at the age of 73. Proud and loving father of Cindy Spera. Cherished brother of Valerie (Rick) Woodworth and Phyllis Spera. Beloved grandpa of Cynthia R. Spera. Dearest uncle of Hillary (Kyle), Allison, Douglas, Michael and Matthew. Also survived by many cousins and numerous good and dear friends. Visitation Tuesday, June 23 at THREE HOLY WOMEN PARISH ST RITA CHURCH, 1601 N. Cass Street, from 9:15 AM to 10:45 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Procession to Holy Cross Cemetery for the committal prayers, Military Honors and burial to follow. Peter was a proud member of the United States Navy, serving his country while stationed in Turkey. He was a past commander of the Alonzo Cudworth Post, a volunteer for numerous charitable organizations and a member of the Italian Community Center. Donations to the American Heart Association in Peter's name, are appreciated by his family.

I had the extreme pleasure of working with Peter in my dental office over many years, he never failed to bring a smile to my face and joy to my heart! Cindy, he couldn't say enough wonderful things about you. You were the light of his life! I almost felt like I knew you when he was telling me about your advancements and adventures.
