I was talking with friends just a few weeks ago and Bob's name came up. I recounted the time Bob had us volunteers out helping clear the path through the wood at your place in Saukville. Bob was driving the gray Ford tractor and as he started down the hill suddenly realized the thing was out of gear and the brakes didn't work. He was going "WAAAAAAAA" all the way down the hill and we all jumped off the path and waved as he went by. He went over a bump at the bottom and went up in the air off the seat about 3 feet, came down in the seat, rolled to a stop and all he could say was "WOW". Thanks for the memories. Mary,
I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to you at this difficult time. I was introduced to Bob many years ago through my father, Jim Raasch via the MMVA. I also had the pleasure of joining Bob, my father, my uncle Robert Raasch and several other members of the MMVA for the Flag Day parade in Fredonia one summer. Bob was very warm and friendly and was proud to share stories of his vast collection of military vehicles! What an entertaining gentleman he was!
May you find peace in happy memories...

Dear Mary, I too am deeply saddened about Bob's passing. He was (and you are) a great friend. With the others of the MMVA I will always remember the times we all gathered on the farm for what the late Andy LaBorde referred to as "Bob's Bounce" in the club newsletter. You both made all of us feel welcome and Bob never hesitated to share his toys with us when we would get together. My family and I offer our most heartfelt sympaties at your loss. Sincerely, Leo Jankowski
