I was fortunate enough to spend just about every weekend at the Halsey house growing up. I always felt that I had a second set of parents in Mr. and Mrs. Halsey. They treated me so well and I will forever be grateful for that. You will be so missed Mr. Halsey. I am comforted though as I have a strong feeling that you will still be looking out for me. Thank you and God bless.

Oh Mr. Halsey, I always felt as though I needed to call him that even as an adult... I never saw him without a smile on his face - unless it was to pull another piece of wit from his many one liners that made us laugh.
He was always encouraging and believed in us, saw the brighter side of life and I know he will be greatly missed. But, I have a feeling he will be over my shoulder checking out the latest designs I am laying out with a word or two about it. : ) I will take him on my side all day long.
I am so so sorry for such a great loss in all of our lives. Becca, Mrs. H and all of his family - you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Kathy, Bret, Abby, Jack and Georgia

I knew Bob as a fellow Tai Chi student. He was always willing to help a class mate with a move or two and he had plenty of them. He was very proud of his family's connection to Adm. "Bull" Halsey and had an ID to prove it ! I will miss you , Bob. It just won't be the same without you on the green line, bowing in.
