Robert Saggau Obituary

Saggau, Robert Joseph, Sr. Age 88. A resident of Phelps, WI since 1988, died on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Inncare Country House in Phelps, WI. He was born on January 29, 1920 in Denison, Iowa. Bob was formerly of Mequon, WI and a longtime resident of Smokey Lake. He was a 1941 graduate of Notre Dame and a member of the Monogram Club. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie (nee Hays), his son, David and his sister, Mary Saggau. He is survived by his sons, Robert, Jr. (Susie) Saggau, of Milwaukee, WI and Tom M. (Mary) Saggau of Weldon Spring, MO, daughters, Barbara Saggau of Wichita, KS, Jane Saggau of Phelps, WI and Catherine (Frank) Sorrenti of Bay View, WI, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and his brother, Thomas (Barbara) Saggau of South Bend, IN. Memorial services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Gaffney, Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials to Phelps Area Emergency Medical Services, P.O. Box 157, Phelps, WI 54554 are appreciated by the Saggau family. Arrangements by Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI.
