Sophie Nicholas Obituary
Visitation at the Funeral Home Mon., June 27, 5-7PM. Trisagion 5:30PM. Visitation at ANNUNCIATION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 92nd and Congress on Tue., June 28, 9:30-10AM. Funeral Service 10AM. Rev. Fr. James Dokas officiating. Burial to follow at Pinelawn.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Next Door Foundation would be appreciated.
Sophie was the well loved "Ms. Nick" to the students of Shorewood High School where she worked for 18 years and was past president of the Shorewood PTA. Sophie touched the lives of so many people with her radiant personality and brought sunshine wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by all.

Chuck, Alex, and Eileen, I was lucky to get to know George and Sophie and they became good confidants when I lived in the duplex. Your Mom was always in the best of humor and a pleasure to be with. So sad to see her go but now your folks are together again. Erika

Your Mom was the best. She got Jimmy and I through some very tough times and was ALWAYS there for us.She will never be forgotten by those she touched.
