It seems that we all leave home and have to find our own destiny in life. After the visitation yesterday I realized what a large part Steve played in my life and alot of others. Whether it was the get togethers, Friday lunches at Silver Spring House or the infamous Derby Party. I am fortunate to have an annual Vegas trip always on Kentucky Derby weekend with many HHS's. Starting this year will be a tradition of a batch of "Coltie's Moscow Mules" for the bunch. It won't be Coltie'e special batch, taste quite the same but I will promise it will bring a smile and probably a few tears. Thanks Steve and take care. Wheels

My sincere condolences to all of Steve's family and many, many friends. I think that I have had a little crush on Steve since I was about twelve. He was one of those guys - incredibly fun, kind, and oh, those eyes. I can only begin to imagine how he will be missed. Mary

"Life is a Funny Thing" S. Colt

So many memories from high school with you and Kupfer...fun times, white album, dandelion wine...

Always smiling and sharing that smile with everyone...I know you are already missed.

Steve, I will miss you until the day I die. You were my best friend and you were always there for me. I will always remember the good times we had...and boy oh boy, we had some really good times. There's just too many to mention but everytime I watch Trains, Planes and Automobiles or Summer Rental, I'll laugh and think of you. Steve, you were the best friend anyone could have asked for. You're going to be missed by SO many people. This is very difficult to handle as no one ever thought that you'd pass at such a young age. In your own words you'd say 'Big Daddy Ain't Going to Die'. I only wish you could have lived by your own words. I love you and miss you dearly. My sympathy and prayers are with Carrie and your family. With all my love, Lynne
