Thomas Richard "Tom" Pomeroy

1950 - 2015

Pomeroy, Thomas Richard "Tom" Age 64, passed away peacefully at home in Harford, WI, surrounded by family on January 8, 2015. Tom was born on May 12, 1950 to Richard and Marygail (nee Cynker) Pomeroy of Menomonee Falls, WI. Tom graduated from Menomonee Falls High School in 1968. He served in the US Army and completed two tours of duty in Viet Nam. Tom worked for several years at Dostal & Lowey (D&L) Manufacturing in Menomonee Falls, WI. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed reading and the outdoors. In addition to many friends and relatives, Tom is survived by his wife, Suzie, his daughter, Stephanie Scherler (Nate), and son, Joel Pomeroy (Beth). He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Heather (Chris) and stepson, Dirk (Shelley) and their children, Lacey, Fred, Josh, Grace, Lydia, Evan, Luke, and their grandchild, Clara. He is further survived by his sisters, Beth Brocker and Mary Pomeroy, and his brother, Patrick Pomeroy (Lauren), and nieces, Erin, Meghan, Ashley, and nephew, Casey Pomeroy. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harry and Gail Johnson, his mother and father, and brother, James Pomeroy. A memorial service for Tom will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Faith Bible Alliance Church (W2799 Lehman Rd, Neosho, WI 53059. There will be no visitation prior to the 11:00 AM service.
