Thomas Suckow Obituary

CALEDONIA - Thomas T. "Tom" Suckow, 62, passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 26, 2004. He was born in Milwaukee on July 28, 1942 the son of William and Corinne (nee Nass) Suckow. On August 11, 1962 Tom was united in marriage to Patricia A. Gierlinski in Milwaukee. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a small explosive technician and rifle expert. Tom had been a welder for many years. Most recently he had been employed with American Champion Aircraft of Rochester until October 2004.

Thomas is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bridgette and Bill Wolfe of Racine; a granddaughter, Danielle Wolfe; grandson Mitchell Wolfe both of Racine; two brothers, Wayne Suckow of Albuquerque, NM and Mark (Susan) Suckow of Milwaukee; brother-in-law, David Gierlinski of Milwaukee, sister-in-law Alice Suckow, further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia on August 30, 1989 and son, Shawn on September 4, 1983; brother Jerry Suckow and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Suckow.

Private funeral services were held at the Hanson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 2004.

Memorials to the Make a Wish Foundation, 606 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI have been suggested.
