Met him when he was going to a local Community College that had a wonderful music/band program that had won a lot of competitions..
He was excited to be in that program..
I remember that he usually had a musical instrument with him.. That was so long ago, but I remember that he was really sweet and was happy just about all the time..
I am really sad that I found this obituary... May he play his music for the Angels...

Jon was a really fine trumpet player and overall musician who I had the pleasure of playing with when he was in Juneau. I just wish more could have heard him before he passed.He loved people , life, and having fun! My condolences to his family and friends
