Lenexa, Kansas - Carmel Therese Anderson, aged 67, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 17 from Alzheimer's. Carmel was born on a farm in Andale, KS and grew up with a love of all animals. She met her husband at college. Later, she went back to college to become an electronics designer working for IBM. She is survived by her husband, Paul, children Laura and Peter, and grandchild Edward Hughey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. There will be a private ceremony at a later date.
