TOPEKA - Rosselot, Catherine "Kay", 83, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015, in her home in Topeka, Kansas surrounded by family. She was born in Wichita on September 15, 1931, the daughter of Michael Charles and Mary Eva Cooke. She was baptized at Blessed Sacrament in Wichita and is a member of Mater Dei Parish, Topeka. Kay married Gene Edward Rosselot July 10, 1954, in Newton, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Together they lived in Salina, Topeka, Honolulu, Clark AFB the Philippines, and Anderson AFB Guam. Kay was predeceased by her loving husband Gene, her parents; five brothers, Edwin Cooke, Pat Cooke, Richard Cooke, Mike Cook, and Joe Cooke, and her beloved older sister Margaret "Peggy" Wolivar. Kay attended Bethel College in Newton and received her Medical Technology ASCP from Lattimore-Fink, having completed her clinical at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She reared her six children and returned to work as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with Columbian Securities, then OFG Financial Services. She was a member of the Prairie Flint Hills Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century. Kay enjoyed genealogy, liked to watch college basketball, soccer, play bridge and spend time with family. Survivors include five daughters, Terri (Jeff Crusinbery) Roberts, Topeka, Angie Rosselot, Orlando, FL, Lou (Mike) Allen, Topeka, Shirley (Steve) Conover, Olathe, Diana (Dale) Thompson, Westminster, MD, and a son Larry (Katherine) Rosselot, Lewisville, TX; nine grandchildren, Matt Conover, Tyler Conover, Catie Conover, Travis Roberts, Sydney Roberts, Ian Thompson, Michele Thompson, Renee Rosselot, and Gene Edward Rosselot II; one great-granddaughter Grace Marie Conover (Matt & Cherisse McCormick); two sisters, Rita Sadowski, Newton and Jean Bauer, Wichita. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Mater Dei Holy Name Church, 1114 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS. Visitation will be tonight from 5-7 p.m. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka KS, with rosary at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to LifeHouse Child Advocacy Center, 303 S.
