Darin Compton Obituary

CHENEY - Compton, Darin, 42, born Sept. 29, 1965, passed away peacefully, May 9, 2008 at his home. He worked at Boeing for over 20 years and currently at Spirit Aero Systems. Darin was a member of the United Methodist Church of Cheney and FLW Outdoors. Darin loved fishing, hunting, golfing, softball, boating, and spending time with friends and family. Lakeside service 6pm Friday May 16th Cheney Lake Hobie Beach Campground. Survivors: fiancDiane Wheelock, her children, Taylor and Austin Wheelock of the home; daughter, Kayla Compton; son, Garrett Compton; Karen Compton, mother of the children; parents, Pat and Homer Compton; sisters, Vicki Turner(Stacy), Kim Uppendahl (Bruce), Sandi Dixon (Stan), Jana Morris; many nieces, nephews and many great friends. I don't think I ever walked away from a conversation with Darin where he didn't make me smile! May he live in your hearts until you meet again. You are in our family's prayers. God Bless You All!
