My deepest condolences go out to the Bowers and Wolfe families.
Not only was I a classmate of Deana's in "76", but my mother and sisters knew and thought fondly of Carolyn and the Wolfe girls.
I hadn't seen Deana much since high school, but can tell you this... EVERYONE who went to Truesdell and South in the early and mid 70's thought Deana was one of the sweetest girls around. She really had a wonderful personality.

Deana was a big presence in earlier teenage years for many of us and the source of so many happy memories. She had that "forever" smile - I can see it right now. It is in times like these that our life here on earth makes so little sense... however God's plan is perfect and we must trust in him. Ben, when I have turned to you for help to make sense of this earthly journey your testimony always leads me back to God’s word and his will, not mine. May you and your family feel his strength and have the blessed assurance that Deana has ascended into God’s arms and this is all part of his perfect plan. Deana, Oh how I will miss you! You were such a blessing in my life. You helped me many times to keep my focus on the Lord,when raising my kids. You brought such fun and laugher to family get togethers. You were a great servant and helped many people, out of the kindness and goodness of your heart. You always sought me out and we had very meaningful conversation. Thank you so much for your love for my brother and the wonderful love you showed your children and grandchildren. What an example. I miss you already! I know I will see you again. Thanks to Jesus!!! He has saved us and prepared an enternal home, where there is no more sadness or sorrow, no more aging bodies, perfect skin, not sagging necks, no trying to fit into smaller clothes...because you have been perfectly fitted for your new body.
