My father & mother, (August & Josephine Wolf), were close friends of Enos and his wife, Virginia. My dad worked with Enos during the war. I always loved "Uncle Enos". He was a kind and gracious man. May he rest in peace. I'm so sorry to learn of his passing.

Back to his porch for some more music and friendship. I marvled at the agility, in his hands and the sharpness of his mind considering his advanced age. Enos was helping me thru those previously mentioned struggles each time we met. After probably more than 7 years, Enos crossed my mind a short time ago. It saddened me to see his obituary, while looking for the obituary of another friend.
It was both an honor and a privilege to have met such an amazing man! Rest comfortable my friend!

I had the pleasure of meeting Enos about 7 years ago. Enos lived near a friend of mine, so it was just by happenstance that we met. I happened to be a bit of a musician myself, so Enos and I immediately had something to visit about. Soon, Enos and I were sitting on his front porch playing music, laughing and just enjoying the moment. This particular time in my life was a troubled time, struggling with addictions, pretty much homeless. I am sure that Mr. Fry was well aware of this, but he would always extend his arm for a wave and : continued next entry

As a friend of Gerry's, I have heard such wonderful messages about Enos and how he lived a meaningful and kind long life. Many blessings and peace in healing and celebrating the life of Enos.

Enos was a very caring dear friend of mine. I thought of him as a father figure, always giving to others. He was the best friend of my father in law, Floyd Evans, and when the two of them got together you could always expect a great story. Don't know if half of what they said actually happened but you could see the strong friendship between the two. Enos taught me many of my skills I learned in life and continue to use. Although he did not carry a "degree" from a higher education, what he obtained and shared with others was self learned. We will truly miss him, he was a gifted man.

I loved to hear Enos laugh in response to a story. He also responded with a gentle, giving approach to others and to events in life. Enos and my mother, Verna Vincent, spent many an evening practicing the violin in order to share their talents with others. Joyful, Generous, Loving....beautiful attributes to a wonderful man. Enos was a wonderful friend of my family's. It was always so special when he would visit and tell us of one of his adventures, play some music or take me for a ride on his Harley in my grandfather's field. He was such an amazing man and will be truly missed. All of our love and condolences go to his family.

Enos was a good friend of my mother's, Verna Vincent, until her death in 2006. He was a very special person and we that knew him realized what a remarkable man he was. I never heard a negative word from Enos, he was always positive, humorous and a joy to be around. It was a privilege to have known him. RIP Enos.

Although I never knew Enos Fry personally, I heard so many wonderful stories of his lie from his devoted son Gerald Fry. I offer my sincerest condolences to Gerald and his family and friends. May you find peace.
